"Inglourious Basterds" begins in German-occupied France, where Shosanna Dreyfus witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa. Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris, where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema. Elsewhere in Europe, Lieutenant Aldo Raine organizes a group of Jewish soldiers to engage in targeted acts of retribution. Known to their enemy as "The Basterds," Raine's squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget Von Hammersmark on a mission to take down the leaders of The Third Reich. Fates converge under a cinema marquee, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own.

Your Sims Are Going Places!
Electronic Arts has announced the first Expansion Pack to the The Sims 3. Due out November 16, the expansion will allow players to take their Sims on adventures, visiting China, Egypt, and France, being among the many places. This expansion pack is also coming with 1,000 SimPoints ($10 worth) that can be used to buy in-game items. It, of course, will have many new items, including clothing, furniture, and possibly new physical appearance changes. Expect it to be priced about half the original game, or $30, just like all the other ones. While we were hoping for something sooner, or different, this will give us some flavor to an already great game.Comment Your Thoughts,

Prince Of Persia Movie Epic Fail?

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is scheduled to come out May of 2010 but the question is whether or not it's worth seeing. The first thing you may notice is that Jake Gyllenhaal is playing the role of Prince Dastan a Persian when Gyllenhaal is only slightly darker then an albino boy with a small tan. Gyllenhaal's ethnicity aside there is also the fact that Disney thinks they have what it takes to satisfy the Prince of Persia fans that have been anticipating this long awaited movie. It's hard to believe they are getting the honor of turning this game into a movie when their last live action "hit" was hamsters with guns. But.....yes there is a but, Disney did not disappoint in the live action Pirates of The Caribbean series that we all know and love, so maybe just maybe this movie has a chance. Sands of Time will defiantly separate the true Persia fans from those that are gonna see this movie and not write an angry blog about it afterwards.
Angry comments expected and encouraged,
Devon
Would a Second Chance Change You?
So, Adam Sandler's new movie, "Funny People" is out. We've heard good and bad things.
Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen and Leslie Mann star in the story of a famous comedian who has a near-death experience... and what he does with a second chance. Director Judd Apatow addresses a question that hasn't before been touched with such trademark bluntness: If you had the chance to start all over again, would you be the same jerk you always were?
Have you seen it?
